CCSchwarz GmbH is an owner-managed consultancy based in Leimersheim in the southern Palatinate region of Germany. For years the focus has been Abas ERP and the companies that run it.

Most projects start with the same sentence: "The system can do that in principle, but here things work differently." The work I offer today grew out of that gap between standard software and practice that evolved over time.
I started out in 2000 with programming and web design, alongside my computer science studies. Since 2005 my work has revolved around Abas ERP – first as a developer and consultant, later as a project manager, increasingly on international projects.
From 2011 to 2017 I worked for the maker of Abas ERP itself, then abas Software AG: first as international project coordinator, later in charge of international partner management. From 2017 to 2021 I built up the Australian Abas ERP partner.
I founded CCSchwarz GmbH in 2021. Since then I have served international customers from the Palatinate – with a view of Abas ERP that covers all three perspectives: the software vendor, the partner and the people who use the system every day.
Besides the consulting work, I build my own apps. Some of them extend Abas ERP where the standard falls short. Others have nothing to do with it and simply solve an everyday problem – such as the Diabetes Tracker for pets on the App Store. Programming is where my career started, and it is still the part of the work I do not want to hand over.

Plain speaking
If a plan will not work in its current shape, I say so – even when that makes the project smaller.
Traceability
Decisions, effort and customisations are documented. Two years from now it should still be clear why something was built the way it was.
Equal footing
The people in the departments know their workflows better than any consultant. My job is to translate that knowledge into a working system.
Location and coverage
The office is in Leimersheim between Karlsruhe, Landau and Speyer. I work throughout Germany and internationally – on site where presence makes a difference, remotely where it would only add travel time. For companies with several sites that mix is the norm: process analysis on site, implementation and training for the international plants online. Projects and training are available in German and English.
